Sandro Galea will participate in this plenary panel on “Research During Polarized Times: How to Make Your Work Matter” during the 2024 AcademyHealth Annual Research Meeting (ARM).

Session Description: Health care policy is often a target of political polarization – think COVID-19 or the Affordable Care Act or Dobbs.  Despite polarization, some researchers have been able to bring evidence to bear on policy decisions.  This panel will feature four exemplars on how to produce and communicate evidence in polarized times.
